Responsibilities BlueHalo is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Systems Analyst. This position provides systems engineering expertise and support to enhance the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Modeling and Simulation (M&S) enterprise. The Systems Engineer provides technical assistance to the Director of M&S Enterprise Engineering (M&S EE), who is responsible for chairing design reviews, enforcing standards, managing Enterprise Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), and synchronizing all M&S across the Agency. The Systems Engineer performs engineering duties to define the architecture, modules, interfaces, and data for M&S systems to satisfy specified requirements. This position is located at Schriever, AFB. Qualifications Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree (in some cases, military education can be considered in lieu of Bachelor's (with Associate's degree)) 7
years of relevant experience Active Secret Clearance Demonstrated systems engineering experience with and knowledge of the Missile Defense System (MDS) or similar DoD weapon system Systems engineering experience with M&S systems and their uses Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders, both in written and spoken forms Ability to apply creative thinking, problem solving, analytical thinking, strategic thinking, and out-of-the-box thinking Desired Skills:
TS/SCI Clearance Knowledge of Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) sensors and associated systems Knowledge and application of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles, concepts, and tools Experience working with system-of-systems or family-of-systems, preferably in a DoD context Experience in the use and analysis of M&S data for complex systems, preferably for the BMDS Experience with data architectures and creating complex data models for information systems Understanding of the field of data science, including data analytics and cloud architectures Energetic, conscientious, collaborative, and self-starting Salary range starting from $90,00 - $110,000. $80K -- $150K
