What you will be doing:
Managing cradle to grave cost & pricing activities for assigned corporate opportunities including establishing unique strategies, developing scalable templates, providing cost/pricing domain expertise, and participating in negotiation of pricing inputs as both the Prime and Sub. Staying within budgeted financial parameters, understanding P&L implications and business risk as it relates to each proposal effort. Researching competitive intelligence to develop Price-to-Win (PTW) parameters for Prime level efforts. Coordinating the development of BOEs (Basis of Estimate) and WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) with key stakeholders to ensure cost/price volume synchronization with technical and staffing proposal sections as necessary for larger submittals. Developing RFPs and managing responses to price proposal requests to subcontractors for both standalone and ID/IQ contracts; perform cost analysis and subcontractor cost justifications to ensure prices competitiveness. Presenting pricing strategy, status, and final product at appropriate milestones to Capture Director, Proposal Lead, Business Line Director, and Senior Leadership for review and approval. Assisting in the development and review of cost proposal volume narratives within specified RFP parameters. What you will need to have:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Accounting or a related field with 5
years of experience in Federal Government Contract pricing or equivalent combination of education and experience. Understanding of FAR/DFAR, DCAA, and DCMA regulations. Advanced Excel Skills Ability to deconstruct pricing requirements from RFP/RFQ documentation and develop plans to deliver a fully compliant cost volume at a winning price.
