Our ICBM Operational Software Sustainment Program (IOSSP) program has an exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer to join our team! The Software Engineer will work as part of a team maintaining and developing critical software utilized to control the US land-based Minuteman III Strategic Missile force. The Software Engineer will design, develop, document, test, and debug mission critical software on real-world mission equipment. The individual will also work closely with customers during the software modification cycles ensuring requirements and customer expectations are understood and met. The individual will also assist the program lead Software Engineer with team lead responsibilities for one or more of the software product teams. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance required for this role. Basic
Qualifications:
o Software engineer with development experience o Desire to work on an embedded system o Willingness to sustain mature software o Flexibility to work with older software development processes - This position requires special access to support the program and requires the selected candidate to be a US Citizen. - Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Level clearance required for duration of assignment. Desired Skills:
Familiarity with the Minuteman III ICBM System Embedded systems programming experience Experience in Ada programming language VAX/VMS Experience Top Secret clearance a plus
Salary Range:
$80K -- $100K
Minimum Qualification
Software DevelopmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
