General Description:
Responsible for the market evaluation and placement of new business and existing Premier accounts over $1,000 in revenue.
Evaluate and negotiate terms for high net worth (HNW) clients with complex insurance or risk management needs.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with management, producers, and carriers.
Responsibilities:
o Review and analyze insurance submissions for new and renewal business.
Includes coverage, limits, deductibles, retentions, and classifications.
Recommend improvements to insurance coverage.
o Market new and renewal submissions to carriers.
Includes application preparation and loss analysis.
o Analyze and compare carrier quotes for proper coverages, terms, and conditions.
o Negotiate competitive pricing and terms with carriers on client's behalf.
o Develop and maintain relationships with insurance company underwriters and brokers.
o Respond to underwriters' inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
o Prepare new business proposals to assist with sales efforts of Personal Risk Specialists.
Includes program recommendations and presentation documents.
o Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systems.
o Collaborate with Personal Risk Specialist and Client Advisors.
Ensure marketing expectations are met and agency procedures are followed.
o Stay current on industry and new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o 5 years
experience in Personal Risk Property & Casualty insurance.
o High School Graduate.
College degree preferred.
o Comprehensive understanding of all Property & Casualty insurance coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.
Includes underwriting knowledge of the affluent/HNW carrier markets.
o Must hold or be willing to earn a Property & Casualty insurance license.
o Industry designation such as ARM, CIC, CPCU preferred, or intent to pursue a designation.
o Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
o Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.
o Comfortable with internet-based programs and navigating carrier marketing websites.
Knowledge of Sagitta/WorkSmart preferred, but not required.
o Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
o Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.
o Set priorities and manage workflow to ensure efficient, timely, and accurate processing of transactions.

$75,000 - $80,000.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
