The Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Consolidated Support Directorate announced the award of the Technical, Engineering, Advisory and Management Support (TEAMS)-Next Specialized Engineering Analyses (SEA) contract to the nTSI Joint Venture (JV) between nou Systems, Inc.
and Modern Technology Solutions, Inc.
valued at $637 million.
The contract provides Speci alized Engineering Analyses services over seven and half years to support the Missile Defense Agency's (MDA) mission to develop and deploy a layered Missile Defense System in defense of the United States, its deployed forces, allies, and friends from missile attacks in all phases of flight.

Responsibilities:
Program offices are led by Missile Defense System (MDS) element program managers, functional leads, and senior program office staff to comply with direction/guidance and acquire MDS capability.
MDA program offices conduct the following activities:
Develop and procure MDS components (weapons, sensors, battle management, etc.
) Develop and manage program technical baseline.
Develop MDS capability in several acquisition lifecycle phases from initial research and development to production phases.
Develop acquisition strategies to support overall MDS deliveries and report program execution status.

Responsibilities:
Provides systems engineering support to the MDA/SS Chief Engineer for several major areas to include:
Program planning, integration and technical program baseline management System Readiness Reviews (SRR), Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR) and Critical Design Reviews (CDR) Technical support in the execution of MDA acquisition and engineering processes through all phases of the MDS acquisition lifecycle Preparation and review of various engineering documentation and executive-level decision papers, to include the Systems Engineering Master Plan, interface control documents, system specifications, and requirements documents Technical analyses and risk assessment in support of the MDA Acquisition Framework Assessment of program cost, schedule, system performance, and technical risk Preparation for and execution of program design reviews and other acquisition milestone reviews

years of experience in MDA Engineering (MDA/DE) boards and processes Ability to apply disciplined systems engineering practices (requirements identification, architecture development, and validation/verification) Experience in creating and assessing engineering management plans, interface control documents and system requirements / specifications Familiarity with acquisition program baseline management Proficiency in MS Office suite, including Excel, Powerpoint and Project Outstanding written and oral communication skills Highly desirable:
Knowledge of MDA system acquisition concepts, theories, principles, and standards Highly desirable:
Knowledge of space system design, operations, testing, and deployment Current TS/SCI security clearance required Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in engineering (Master's degree preferred) Pay Range:
The pay range for this position in Colorado is $150,000/year to $160,000/year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on established government contract rates, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, and other factors.
