QA Test Engineer

An aviation company is looking for an IT QA Test Engineer in Englewood or Colorado Springs, CO to play a crucial role on an ongoing PLM enhancement program within their corporate organization.
The QA Test Engineer will be the only tester on the team and work with 2 developers and 2 business analysts to create functional, regression, and smoke test plans (mostly manual, moving toward automation using Eggplant and TestComplete in the next year).
They will work in 2 week sprints and attend daily standups, retrospective sprint reviews, and sprint planning meetings.
They will be required to document all issues found from Smoke/Regression/UAT tests and provide testing progress status and problem resolution status to management as required.
Candidates should be able to identify and recommend improvements to current processes and procedures that will enhance and increase the efficiency of future software applications testing.
We are looking for people who are inquisitive and can come up with tests on their own once they are up to speed on the application.
The position is an ongoing contract with a plan to convert FTE, and has room for growth after 1 year of employment.
The company has office locations in Englewood and Colorado Springs, but remote candidates will be considered based on experience.
Minimum Requirements 5
years of experience with Manual and Automated Test Plan development, coordination, and execution for an engineering environment (Design, Manufacturing, Quality Applications) 3
years of working knowledge of Agile development methodology, Scrum, or Kanban experience in software testing methodologies Experience sorting through user story requirements to write test cases and acceptance criteria Desired Skills Knowledge of PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) processes and systems (3D experience PLM preferred) Experience with mechanical and electrical CAD (Computer Aided Design) Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
