Team Lead/Senior Test Engineer II with Security Clearance

TMC, a LinQuest company, is seeking a Team Lead/Senior Test Engineer II to join our team at our office in Colorado Springs, CO The Team Lead/Senior Test Engineer II will be a part of a talented team of engineers and specialists that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
In this role, the Team Lead/Sr Test Engineer II will perform duties contributing to general mission and/or space vehicle systems technical activities.
This role consists of personnel whose duties and responsibilities require creativity, judgment in solving and analyzing complex problems, and an understanding program objectives and requirements.
The Team Lead/Sr Test Engineer II participates in solving group problems and understands customer requirements and translate them into technical requirements, prioritize and self-manage work with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:
Lead a small team in the testing and maintaining of test assets used in the development of Space Systems across multiple systems.
Identify key requirements, create test plans, and apply a programming and scripting skill set to implement system and unit-level tests, both internally and externally from a company perspective.
Design, develop and execute operational scripts, procedures and unit tests for use in satellite communications systems.
Schedule resources needed to support critical test events.
Lead the hands-on diagnosis of issues which arise during the integration and testing process, and work closely with software, firmware, and hardware teams to identify and remedy issues.
Troubleshoot system issues by applying a working knowledge of system architecture including software, firmware, optical components, and system associated custom-built and off-the-shelf test equipment to identify root cause for system failures.
Coordinate and interface with external organizations that use the test facilities and equipment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience 10
years of experience in advanced engineering or related relevant experience.
BS in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related.
Preferred Education:
Advanced degree in engineering discipline Expertise in government requirements creation as well as derived requirements.
Expertise in SATCOM Terminal and SATCOM Modem testing and evaluation.
Ability to collect, analyze, and evaluate network traffic and data.
Summarize information for use in plans, procedures, test reports, and presentations.
Expertise in establishment of test and evaluation criteria.
Expertise in developing test plans and procedures in support of equipment evaluation.
Experience in SATCOM/RF/Modem waveform theory.
Experience in SATCOM Terminal and SATCOM Modem operations.
Experience in use of test and evaluation equipment.

Spectrum Analyzers, BER Test sets, Signal Generators, Frequency Counters, Power Meters and Sensors.
Ability to write professional documentation and present results to management and customers.
Ability to use automated test software and understand/follow programming languages; PYTHON, JSON experience a plus.
Ability to configure and troubleshoot basic LAN/WAN networks.
Expertise in use of Microsoft Excel functions and graphing capabilities.
Experience with Visio or like diagramming and vector graphics applications.
Eligible to receive and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI Clearance.
Compensation:
The starting salary for this position ranges from $130,000 to $180,000, depending on relevant experience and qualificationsWhy LinQuest?
