is seeking an experienced Logistics Support Engineer to join our team in providing Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) activities on the portfolio of systems withing the Combat Mission Systems Support (CMSS) contract; primarily Big Top and Cyber Air National Guard Space Training for Electronic Warfare (ANG/CASTE) programs.
Logistics support is for both the sustainment of fielded systems and the development of new system architecture.
Essential Functions:
Influence the system design process by developing and providing a support infrastructure, conducting Product Support Analysis (PSA) through the application of scientific and engineering efforts during the acquisition and design processes.
Analyze level of repair, maintenance tasks, Logistics Product Data (LPD), provisioning data, and Reliability/Availability/Maintainability/Testability (RAM-T) requirements.
Define and develop logistics/product support requirements, support plans, maintenance concepts/plans; Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) plans; and sparing plans.
Analyze technical data and reports to determine/formulate specific recommendations regarding spare/repair parts, test equipment, and support equipment.
Review, analyze and provide inputs to technical drawing documentation, technical orders, and training.
Formulate processes for support and sustainment engineering analysis, life cycle cost/management estimation, maintenance/depot services, warranty/spares administration, and help desk services.
Qualifications:
Active TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience.
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Familiar with SATCOM systems and SATCOM training environment systems (specific experience with the Big Top and/or ANG/CASTE systems preferred) Preferred Additional Skills:
Operations, Maintenance, or Logistics experience with SATCOM systems.
Experience/familiarity with CMSS Contract mission area; as an operator/maintainer or contractor.
Experience developing and presenting logistics product technical documentation.
Outstanding communication (written and verbal) skills and be capable of developing and presenting reports and presentations to the project teams, weapon system management and customer personnel in a clear, articulate, and concise manner.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite to include Excel, Power Point, and Word.
Working knowledge in acquisition life cycle processes and product development.
Understand drawing and specification hierarchy and development.
Familiar with ASME-Y14.
100 and all equivalent guidance pertaining to engineering drawings.
Working knowledge of technical order development, content, and change activities.
Working knowledge of Reliability/Availability/Maintainability/Testability (RAM-T).
Working knowledge of Life Cycle Cost modeling.
Familiar with ITAR policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of maintenance contracts management and procedures for warranty repairs Familiar with electronics equipment maintenance practices and procedures.
