Description of Duties:
The Test Engineer supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract.
The candidate will:
oProvide test expertise based on existing MDA test standards.
oCommunicate status, results, and recovery plans as needed.
oDevelop and maintain customer relationships.
oApply automation techniques for a variety of test scenarios in coordination with Systems Engineers.
oBe able to generate robust test plans and procedures based on system specifications in coordination with Systems Engineers.
oDevelop test process flows / cases and generate test plan documentation.
oReview and analyze system specifications.
oOrchestrate integration and developmental test case execution, analyze results and provide feedback for best practices to improve throughput efficiency.
oSupport Government directed operational verification and validation tests.
oCreate logs to document testing phases and deficiencies.
oReport defects and issues to stakeholders and track them to closure.
oGenerate data collection procedures, execute data collection, and provide reports.
This position can be filled at Schriever SFB, Colorado Springs, CO.
This position is expected to pay $103,000 - $128,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.

Must have one of the following combinations of education and
Experience:
HS Diploma (or GED) and 10 years of general experience; Associate's degree and 8 years of general experience; Bachelor's degree and 6 years of general experience; Master's degree and 4 years of general experience.
oMust have 6 years of experience in relevant engineering principles and practices as it relates to developing, implementing, and monitoring system test execution; ideally in a DoD or Space environment.
oMust have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance or higher.
Desired Requirements:
oHave experience with DoD test design, data collection, and data validation/verification.
oHave experience with Requirements Traceability Matrices (RTMs), and ensuring 100% test coverage of the system requirements.
oHave experience leading Integrated Test Process Teams and technical reviews.
oHave experience in preparing and delivering briefings to management and customers.
oHave experience in performing innovative research.
oHave experience developing and delivering courses of action and solutions to test requirements.
