The RoleAMERGINT is seeking a Systems Engineer who is passionate about working closely with customers to solve difficult mission-critical challenges.
In this important role, you will provide the technical oversight for the lifecycle of the project projects including requirements, design, integration, and verification.
This position will be located in our Colorado Springs, CO location.
Core Responsibilities Requirements gathering, evaluation, and decomposition Perform System Architecture Design and ensure the design meets system requirements Lead system design review and creating and/or updating specifications, design and technical baseline documentation Generate technical baseline artifacts Identify technical risk and participate in risk analysis and mitigation Support the development of system test and integration Serve as a technical link between the project management team and engineering Required Skills Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (Software or Systems Engineering degree preferred) 5
years of work-related systems engineering experience Basic knowledge of SATCOM Strong analytical ability Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time Support business development with specification reviews and engineering estimates Work closely with other team members Passionate about fostering good engineering practices and processes.
Willingness to learn new technology and approaches.
Understanding of testing principles and design for test capabilities.
