Integration AND Test Engineer
Insight Global is looking for a mid-senior level Integration and Test Engineer for a client located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The client is a leader in the assured aerospace communication solutions and services (Satellite communications and radio frequency) and the Integration and Test Engineer will join the client's Solution Delivery Team.
The team is responsible for automation testing for all the clients' products/applications and this resource will work with the design team and be the integration and test authority for assigned projects.
The Engineer will support the development and maintenance of test requirements, test plans and test approach from project launch through closure of the contract.
This individual will also be responsible for verification of technical scope as defined by the design authority, with a focus of maintaining cost and schedule goals.
Additional responsibilities will include:
Decipher technical contractual requirements and allocates them to test cases within the project's test planCreate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and coordinate with the Engineering Support team to get parts on order and systems builtCreate test procedures and automated test software to verify product's compliance with requirementsPerform customer witnessed acceptance testing of project hardwareManages requirement traceability through verification, using tools such as a Requirements Verification MatrixDevelop requirements for creating test simulators or custom test toolsAssesses project technical risks and provides mitigation plans particularly around testabilityCoordinates the review, presentation, and release of test documentation to support requirements compliance, including Technical Interchange Meetings, Preliminary and Critical Design ReviewsNetworking experience with routers and switches Active Secret Clearance4-8 years of Software testing experienceRecent working experience in the Satellite Communications (Satcom)/Radio Frequency industryFamiliarity with RF (Radio Frequency) Communications Working experience with Linux operating systems Recommended Skills Aerospace Industries Communication Electrical Switchgear Linux Maintenance Networking Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
