Job Description:
Administer a ground-based infrastructure supporting a Parsons software pipeline for the government customer.
You will be responsible for maintaining these systems, configuring both operating systems and software products, as well as installing required software patches and security updates for the systems.
Execute cyber hardening through DISA STIG implementation / System Hardening and working within Configuration-Managed Environments.
Prepare and submit status reports, and technical briefs, as required, to supervisor, senior management, and customers.
Develop and execute test procedures.
Troubleshoot and restore functionality to test equipment.
Install new software baselines to test equipment.
Communicate with the Test team and the customer to identify software bugs within the test environment.
Provide system troubleshooting skills and develop alternative solutions.
Develop, revise, and update standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance on associated systems and network assets.
Required Education and Certification:
Associate's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, and 3
years of system administration.
Additional years of experience may be substituted in place of an Associate's Degree.
Current DoD IAT Level 2 Certification Secret Security Clearance Required Required Skills:
3
years of experience administering Windows Server Environments 3
years of experience administering Federal or DOD systems.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Solid understanding of DISA STIG requirements and implementation vSphere Environment Administration Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, flexible environment and possess a willingness to take the initiative to learn new tools and concepts quickly.
Desired Skills:
