Come join our team! We have an exciting position for a Senior Wargames and Exercises (WG&E) Program Analyst.
Candidate will be capable of leading and executing analytical tasks and utilizing analytical techniques and processes to support complex developmental and operational test programs.
Lead and execute planning, monitoring, acquisition, and implementation support for complex systems.
Possess extensive knowledge, skills, and abilities in the analysis field.
Be capable of leading the development and utilization of analytic techniques and processes for both technical and administrative support activities.
Ability to communicate effectively across multiple Combatant Command and Department of Defense organizations, verbally, electronically, and in writing.
Possess exceptional technical writing and Government reporting and documentation skills (e.
g.
, Congressional/GAO Test inquiries).
Provide expert analytical assistance for the Missile Defense Agency's Wargames and Exercises Directorate.
The analyst will be responsible for support across all Combatant Command (CCMD) geographic areas of responsibility.
The analyst will participate in multiple Joint Event Life Cycle (JELC) planning forums for every CCMD and provide sound recommendations for Warfighter participant coordination, event scheduling, exercise concepts, design, and execution.
The Program Analyst Advanced will be expected to deploy frequently in support of WG&E JELC events within the various CCMD AORs.
This full-time salaried position serves onsite with the client in Colorado Springs, CO.
Essential Functions:
o Provide expertise in support of the Missile Defense Agency's USCENTCOM, USEUCOM, USINDOPACOM, USNORTHCOM, and USSTRATCOM WG&E Divisions.
Work collaboratively with the government customer and individual CCMD exercise analysts to ensure familiarity with every exercise event to enable surge support capability is available as required.
o Author and publish professional products to include Flag Officer and Senior Executive Service level briefings and written reports.
Ensure the most up-to-date technical information is provided for the Wargames and Exercises Director's awareness and reporting to senior management.
Products will be provided to the government customer for review/approval before publication.
o Identify and take action to resolve issues at the earliest possible opportunity.
Report issues to government and contract management to ensure awareness and provide recommended path forward for resolution.
o Extensive travel required to support JELC events.
o Assist intermediate and basic level analysts with daily performance requirements and provide training to ensure growth and advancement of the work force.
Requirements:
o Education:
MA/MS in a field pertinent to the position being filled.
A BA/BS with five years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for the MA/MS degree requirement.
o DoD Clearance:
Secret to TS/SCI.
o 10 years of relevant experience.
o Experience with military hosted wargames and exercises, DoD test processes, test support, and/or test execution desired.
o Familiarity with the DoD Joint Event Life Cycle process.
o Previous military experience in a joint operational environment and/or Service Component Command and Staff Course graduate.
o Ability to quantify and conduct logical reasoning utilizing advanced analytical techniques; products and associated processes are of a technical nature (key requirement).
o Microsoft Office suite of software and applications (e.
g.
, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Recommended Skills Administration Analytical Communication Contract Management Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
