We have an exciting opportunity to join us in supporting one of our valued customers as aTest Manager (PARCS)to work out of Schriever Space Force Base, Colorado.
PAY:
$120,000 - $140,000 JOB
Summary:
Seeking qualified test manager with experience managing project efforts.
Work with a cohesive team of Test Analysts and Project Managers to accomplish operational test planning, executing, analyzing, and reporting on ground-based missile warning systems to ensure installed system upgrades operate as expected and accomplish mission needs.
Confer with other test team members on the acceptability of the test design, analysis results, or final report documentation and provide feedback on other test activities accomplished within in the team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Performs as the management authority of the test project through test planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
Responsible for the overall safety, security, and effectiveness of test products.
Verifies test procedures have been properly reviewed and approved.
Serves as accountable individual for documentation and briefings for test personnel.
Manages the test effort and personnel through all stages of the test effort to include early involvement, test planning, test execution and reporting.
Develop documentation to include test plans, test execution procedures, data analysis plans, evaluation reports, and required briefings.
Ensures timely, cost-effective planning and execution of test projects.
Helps enable learning about weapon system capabilities and limitations.
Aids to identify, manage, and reduce programmatic and warfighting risks.
Interfaces with customer to successfully deliver results according to agreed commitments.
Assist test team by reviewing and providing constructive comments to planning documents, technical reports, final report briefings or other documents and needed.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
4 years of experience in project management or technical test and evaluation in an operational environment.
PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Possess or can obtain working knowledge of USAF and USSF test and evaluation directives.
Understand the use of data reduction tools to analyze raw data and identify signification system deficiencies.
Understand how to evaluate common system effectiveness and suitability factors including reliability, maintainability, and availability.
Background in Developmental or Operational Testing.
Knowledge of the Perimeter Acquisition Radar Attack Characterization System (PARCS).
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Bachelor's degree:
experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
Secret, with ability to obtainTop Secret/SCI.
