Facilities Space Planner with Security Clearance
Facilities Space Planner This position requires the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance to be consideredProvide professional knowledge to develop and maintain the space management and computer-aided facility management/integrated workplace management system (CAFM/IWMS) allocations as well as other comprehensive planning studies used for installation planning, and installation investment planning decisionsStrong analytical skills, creativity, and knowledge of spatial design conceptsCompensation &

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Facilities Space Planner:
$90,000 to $100,000Pay commensurate with experienceFull time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as providedBenefits are subject to change with or without noticeFacilities Space Planner Responsibilities Include:
o Assist in maintaining space planning COAs records, space allocation surveys, data entry, tracking and reporting using required NexGen IT Systems.
o Develop and manage Customer Authorization (CA); create, update, and coordinate Facility Board approval, prioritize Facility Space Allocation Surveys (FSAS), verify real property records per group validation, identify space optimization opportunities and develop planning actionso Provide facility space data for development of DD1391; calculate CA and develop Facility Space Optimization Plan (FSOP).
o Utilize NEXGEN IT (Tririga) reports and process actions required or needed to maintain and update installation facility records, including correction of discrepancies discovered during records review and inspections, and to document space planning COAs.
o Conduct FSOP surveys- interviews with multiple stakeholderso Coordinate with stakeholders to advise and assist in the establishment of COAs.
o Establish space processes to support requirements while addressing workplace issues.
o Advise stakeholders on the current uses of existing square footage.
o Develop FSOP to advise leadership regarding facility use optimization actions.
o Track and update space use and changeso Maintain and update folders for facilitieso Effective presentation skills.
o Development of work orders and project requiremento Performs other job-related duties as assignedFacilities Space Planner Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
o BS/BA or 5-7 years equivalent experienceo Experience working in a DoD office environment and able to multitasko Experience/knowledge in directing or coordinating one or more administrative services of an organization requiredo Strong written and verbal communication skillso Experience with process improvement requiredo Strong organizational skillso Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and SharePoint requiredo Knowledge/experience creating and using pivot tables requiredo Basic knowledge of GIS data report creation requiredo Experience with CAD and CAFM/IWMS process requiredo Experience with schematic block drawings/preliminary CAD Program drawings requiredo Experience with making space planning recommendations to stakeholders requiredo Experience with coordination of building system, construction, standardization, and space planning principles requiredo Ability to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC)o Ability to successfully pass a drug screen and federal background check.
