Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior DevOps Engineers to join our team! In this role you will get to apply knowledge of software, operating systems, networks, databases, architectures, and tools to improve the maintainability and operability of modern and containerized software systems supporting Defensive Cyber Operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Participating in SAFe Agile Software Development and infrastructure teams bringing automation of testing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), in a SAFe construct.
Communicate effectively with customers, management, and other developers to aid and provide guidance in designing new features as well as determining defect fixesBuild and implement new development tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve DevOps pipeline experience.
Identifying technical problems and performing root cause analysis for development environment errors to produce software updates and fixesInvestigate and resolve technical Continuous Improvement/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) issuesDevelop scripts to automate visualizationStrong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentation100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, COWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:
SeniorMust have a Bachelors Degree (Masters highly preferred) in Computer Science/Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with 10 years of experience.
Certifications:
SAFe for Teams and AWS Dev Ops Engineer within 6 Months of start dateAbility to obtain and hold a Secret clearanceExperience with development languages such as React, Angular, Python, JavaScript, CSS, and HTMLExperience is databases such as SQL, Gitlab, & ArtifactoryStrong networking background with LinuxWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:
Top Secret OR interim/active Secret with ability to get Top SecretDoD 8140.
03 Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CYSA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), etc.
