Required Skills: Familiarity with the software development lifecycle Coursework in Object Oriented analysis and design Coursework in requirements analysis Familiarity with Unix/Linux Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio Familiarity with databases and SQL Familiarity with Agile software development Candidate must have the following characteristics: Ability to interface with multiple groups and external agencies Detail oriented Good communication skills - oral and written; ability to document procedures and summarize issues Software trouble-shooting skills Organization skills to prioritize work activities and meet deadlines Eligible to obtain a Secret clearance Desired Skills: Software development or software systems engineering Familiarity with system engineering and requirements tools: Rational Requisite Pro, Rational Rose, or Sparx Enterprise Architect Experience with Java, C , Fortran, or ITT VIS IDL SOA/Net-centricity Experience with Microsoft OneNote, Atlassian Confluence, or wikis Required Education (including Major): BS in Engineering, Physics,
