Job Description:
Responsible for systems integration and support tasks to include system and system component installation/re-installation (hardware and software) in accordance with Technical Orders (TOs) and Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTOs) or other applicable documentation.
Responsible for system configuration including System Set Identifier (SSID) and SSID security and authentication management.
Conduct Site Acceptance Testing with Field Engineers including collecting and compiling data for systems acceptance testing for locations receiving wireless hardware and at the discretion of the PMO.
Conduct system troubleshooting and general maintenance including backup and restoration tasks.
Report all issues, problems and faults of the system to the AFNet Response Center (ARC) in the form of an incident management ticket.
Manage inventory control of all wireless devices across the AF base infrastructures.
Aruba Certified Mobility Professional certification will be required 30 days post-hire.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree a minimum of 6 years relevant professional experience, or a commensurate combination of education, training and experience, is required.
6 years experience with enterprise operations, reporting, tracking, management, maintenance, controllers, and/or access points.
3 years experience with AirMagnet Survey Pro RF analysis tools and their applications.
Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP) certification.
Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA-A) certification.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Previous experience supporting a Government and/or Department of Commerce customer.
This position requires the candidate to already possess an active Secret clearance and to maintain the clearance.
