Description:
Leidos is seeking an Information Systems Security Analyst (ISSA) for in Colorado Springs, CO.
The Candidate will serve as the ISSA and Leidos team lead to protect our nation's most critical Information Systems. The position''s primary job duty is to assess system security controls and validate user and administrator compliance are in compliance to protect the customer's enterprise information systems.
This involves activities such as:
Providing Tier I/II security and user support to the Leidos team to maintain existing and planned IT and network systems and to ensure operational availability metrics are achieved.
Reviewing, clearing, and addressing security audit logs and other requirements to maintain the customer's systems in accordance with approved security and availability policies.
Taking an active role in conducting and centralizing management of Certification and Accreditation (C&A;) test activities as part of both DCID 6/3, JAFAN 6/3 and ICD 503 processes.
Performing security analysis, test and evaluation activities on customer systems as they are introduced into classified facilities.
Providing C&A; evaluation and test support to ensure all technical security features (e.g. identification and authentication, access control, labeling, and auditing) of the system are considered and function properly.
Reviewing system security documentation; including security certification and accreditation plans, configuration management plans, certification test plans, and risk compliance plans for both new and fielded information systems.
Lead and or participate in conducting risk assessments to ensure that systems are operating securely. This includes experience conducting penetration testing on networks, hosts and applications.
Providing subject matter expertise to mission partners and customer needs during the development lifecycle of systems and networks that are accredited by the MDA SAPCO DAA.
Developing and providing input on security policy and guidance documentation for both existing systems as well as emerging technologies
Reviewing current IA policy, doctrine and regulations and providing recommendations for consolidating or developing IA policy and procedures at the DoD/Intelligence Community/Civilian Government level.
Developing and sustaining an insider threat detection capability to effectively monitor, report and alert.
Provide technical support in investigating and minimizing real or potential damage resulting from security incidents.
Research, develop, integrate and distribute Information System security tools and associated documentation.
Lead and manage a the Leidos on-site personnel providing daily O&M; support to the end customer.

Qualifications:
MUST HAVE ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance date of hire
Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. Citizenship is required
Required Education/
Experience: Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 8
year's information assurance experience and 5
years team lead experience is required.

Qualifications: Currently possess or obtain within six months of date of hire, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certificate issued by the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2) or other DOD 8570.01-M Level III certification.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
