## Description
Server System Engineer supporting the JRDC program in the Missile Defense Space Center (MDSC) Organization at Schriever AFB, CO. Will provide server system engineering services for the MDSC Software Development Center (SDC) computer systems. In this role the successful candidate will be a member of a team that builds web-based applications to serve both in-house users and external customers. Due to the nature of our work this position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance. LI-RE-1
## Qualifications
Bachelor''s degree in system administration or related discipline and 8 years of industry experience administering Redhat Linux server and client systems. Experience administering and maintaining virtual environments using VMware ESXi and vCenter server. Security
or CISSP certification is required. The candidate must have experience in setting up virtual networks. The candidate must be well versed in administering Redhat Linux server and clients systems. The candidate must have experience in reviewing Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessments (IAVA) to determine if they apply and applying patches to mitigate vulnerabilities. The candidate must be able to work productively and independently in a fast-paced development environment. Candidate must have a DoD Top Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain. Preferred: A background in administering the NetBeans IDE and Glassfish Application Server. Administering the Subversion revision control system. Installing and configuring a MySQL database. Experience working with a HP 3-PAR Disk Array system and utilizing the 3-PAR Management Console software to administer the array. Experience requesting and installing SSL Security Certificates.
