I/O data & trace collection & data reduction
Test automation tools design
Data reduction tools design & development
Data manipulation & results database implementation
Skills:
Skills necessary to work with the Performance Team are:
Understanding of basic computer organization & architecture
Programming (C, C++, Visual Basic, Perl, Python, Java, c shells)
Exceptional empirical, experimental, and laboratory skills
Working knowledge of Windows XP, 2008, 7, and any Unix/Linux
Understanding of I/O (disk, RAID, SAS)
Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Ability to clearly & concicesly document work
Good communication & writing skills
Education:
BS in EE, CE, or CS
