General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems (GDAIS) has an immediate opening for a Systems Engineer to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. The ACE IPT is a fast-paced and dynamic environment. ACE IPT performs early integration and experimentation with developmental capabilities. This position will focus on the integration of the R&D; systems into C2BMC, and will contribute to other ongoing ACE projects as needed. The primary effort will involve performing Discrimination Sensor Technology (DST) from an Airborne platform playback of data from previous launch events into the C2BMC and performing an analysis of the system performance. The engineer will require the ability to develop system requirements and use cases, develop CONOPS, plan test events, develop test architectures, conduct peer reviews, and analyze test results. Assessing how the C2BMC prototype system performs using DST state vectors, integrating DST source tracks into the prototype and assessing track processing results, generating and assessing concurrent radar and DST tracks during M&S; and live flight events, and enhancing the prototype based on results of these activities.
Key Responsibilities
The Engineer will perform a disciplined system engineering approach to the definition, development, and analysis of the integration of the Discrimination Sensor Technology (DST) capability within C2BMC. Individual will decompose the current and future planned C2BMC and GEM systems to understand what impact the DST capability will have on the current system and how to mitigate any negative impacts. Work towards future capabilities such as sensor management, tasking, cueing, and discrimination architectures. Participate in developing, executing, and analyzing the results of various tests of the software in a lab environment as needed.
Must have the following
Experience:
1. Strong analysis experience
2. Ability to lead portions of an activity and direct junior engineers as required.
3. Excellent communications skills
4. Previous Test Director/ Test Manager experience
5. Experience with MATLAB, EXCEL, S-Code, STK, Windows and UNIX-LINUX required
6. Coding experience in JAVA, C+
or shell scripts required
7. Experience developing artifacts to include specifications, Interface Control Documents, Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, etc
The Systems Engineer position requires a bachelors degree in a specialized area, field or the equivalent and at least five to eight years of related work experience.
Applicants with a masters degree and a minimum of six to eight years of related experience are also eligible.
Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Knowledge of command and control systems desired. Knowledge of Battle Management CONOPS desired. Knowledge of Windows required and Unix operating systems desired. Knowledge of ballistic missile track correlation algorithms a plus. Perform other duties as assigned. A Secret clearance is required; a Top Secret with SCI is desired.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
