Job Description
The selected candidate will perform as a software developer on the ARC-210 Radio Upgrade project in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Responsibilities include developing code in Jovial, Fortran and Pascal, conducting unit and integration tests, integrating with Radio hardware, adhering to the project schedule, providing status, and elevating issues/concerns to leadership. The qualified candidate is capable of understanding and translating requirements and design artifacts into functional code, and should have the ability to solve problems independently.
Basic Qualifications
Knowledge of a functional programming language - Must have the ability to obtain a DOD Security Clearance.
Desired skills
Experience with the following: - Jovial - Fortran - Pascal - Understanding of communications hardware and serial communications - Background in Motorola 68000 Microprocessor - Interfacing systems with radio hardware - Legacy systems - Mainframe development experience - MVS TSO/ISPF environment - ARC-210 radio knowledge - Top Secret Security Clearance
