This position is for a Software developer on the Common Middleware Component to support the Space Fence Product Team. Requires full software development life-cycle support, as well as working in an agile development environment. The specific work may involve Database Access routines, writing Inter process communication software, writing installation software packages, configuring Active Directory, configuring the Health and Status application (Hyperic), or writing other common software components. Plans, conducts, and coordinates software development activities. Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to business/mission problems or questions in computer language for solutions by means of data processing equipment. Applies the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the development life cycle. Applies knowledge of computer hardware and software, subject matter to be programmed in business/mission applications, information processing techniques used, and information gathered from system users to develop software. Corrects program errors, prepares operating instructions, compiles documentation of program development, and analyzes system capabilities to resolve questions of program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques, and controls. Ensures software standards are met.
Qualifications:
Software engineering and software development with strong Java/ JEE experience. The candidate will have experience and knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards and configuration management. Candidate must have excellent oral and written communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment. Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
Secret Clearance Required
Desired: Experience developing enterprise Service Oriented Architecture applications. Familiarity with Java Foundation Classes and GUI toolkits. Knowledge of server side/database development. Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking is highly desirable. Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:Space Domain, Red Hat Linux, Single SignOn, Java Web Start, JEE, JBOSS, JMS, Eclipse framework, Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services, Computation Parallelization framework (such as GridGain), TCPIP Socket programming, Active Directory, Database queries.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
