JOB DESCRIPTION
Key activities include:
Maintain the annual schedule for all Hardness Maintenance/Hardness Surveillance, High Altitude Electromagnetic Pulse (HEMP), Emergency Depot Level Maintenance (EDLM), and Program Depot Maintenance (PDM) activities
Contact operational sites and depots to assess possible downtimes for mobile depot maintenance and hardness maintenance activities to be performed, recommend when the Government should request system downtime for the efforts, coordinate and document the subsequent flow of events, and assess total depot cost and operational impacts
Coordinate with the appropriate logistics management specialists, equipment specialists, and engineers to ensure that survivability surveillance and sustainment tasks identified in instructions and applicable program documents are identified, programmed, and implemented appropriately
Coordinate with HQ AFSPC, USSTRATCOM, USNORTHCOM, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), and Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to ensure that all survivability requirements levied against operational MILSATCOM systems and equipment are identified and documented
Coordinate with operational units utilizing contractors to maintain hardened systems to provide recommended contract language which ensures compliance with HM/HS/HEMP requirements
REQUIRED
Experience:
4
years of MILSATCOM Systems Engineering
4
years of experience with the Air Force maintenance lifecycle
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Bachelor s/Master s degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience
PREFERRED
Experience:
Domain experience with Milstar/AEHF or other military communications satellite operations
Protected MILSATCOM experience
Top Secret/SCI clearance
US Citizenship and an active DoD SECRET clearance required to be considered for the position.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
