Job Description
Project Engineer for the Missile Defense Command Control Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) Spiral 6.4 release for the Operations and Sustainment IPT located in Colorado Springs, Colorado. C2BMC Task Order 10 staff position reporting directly to the Spiral 6.4 Sustainment Lead. The position requires a strong sustainment background with the ability to perform planning, implementation, and tracking of logistics activities with extensive experience in supply systems and procedures. The candidate will perform activities such as establishing maintenance procedures; evaluating systems spares posture and identifying discrepancies, analyzing failure trends, and evaluating current sustainment processes and recommending improvements. This position requires coordinating closely across functional areas on the National Team, as well as the government counterparts at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). The candidate should have a strong working knowledge of DoD Command and Control, C4I, or weapon systems deployment and logistics/sustainment processes. Candidates are subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. DoD Depot Level experience as a Product Support Manager, Logistics Management Specialist, or Equipment Specialist desired. Understanding the unique nature of supporting remote sites and deployable assets management is deployment related travel required. RCB reference 14-087

Qualifications
Self-starter, demonstrated interpersonal communications skills, able to work with minimal supervision, ability to multi-task, experience with fielding to international sites. This position requires the determination of detailed requirements for all logistics elements to include manpower, facilities, equipment and supplies (to include the procurement, storage, maintenance and utilization of material). In depth technical knowledge of C2BMC desired.
