Marketplace Specialist


Scope:
Responsibility for all Marketplace activities: Direct selling with customers, merchandising products, vendor displays/demonstrations, answering telephone and assisting in other customer service activities. Cross training of all functions from sales to Customer Service to data entry.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
o Ensure merchandise is displayed in the most appealing manner and that the Marketplace inventory is restocked and rotated on a timely basis.
o Service and sell to customers promptly and efficiently following all company policies and guidelines.
o Ensure all incoming phone calls are served promptly and in a courteous manner.
o Make contacts with Dead accounts or Less-active accounts with the intent of reintroducing WAXIE and securing orders.
o Utilize Point of Sale in Marketplace and On Line for phone orders.
o Insure each customer and each customer's problem is handled with respect, promptness and the courtesy deserved.
o Follow all proper procedures for order entry, return policies and safety.
o Make outside Sales Calls on key accounts to develop relationships and accounts for a route type Territory.
o Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
o Strong communication skills.
o Ability to resolve issues promptly.
o Strong decision-making skills.
o Strong organization skills a must.
o Technical expertise relating to industry, procedures and products.
o Excellent MS Office 2013 and AS400 skills.
o Advanced technical (IT skills) are a positive.
o Troubleshoot and make small repairs on equipment.
o Be able to deliver products to customers utilizing WAXIE vehicles.
o Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
o High School Diploma or equivalent.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
