Position Responsibilities -Support the Construction Accounting System specifically related the following:
o Pay estimates
o Insurance requirements
o Subcontract drafts
o Purchase orders
o Project set-up details
o Project quantities and cost
o Communicate data with Project Manager, Project Sponsor and Contract Administrator
o Project Payables & Receivables
o System improvements
o Supply timely and accurate data to financial system
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
o Previous construction experience
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office-Word, Excel
o Awareness and implementation of construction accounting practices
o Experience working with Project Managers & Sponsors
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
o Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Construction Management or 5
years in Construction Project Accounting
o Experience in the Heavy Civil Construction field
o Experience using HeavyBid and HeavyJob
o Ability to read and understand project specifications
o Ability to handle fast paced, time sensitive tasks while maintaining professionalism
