Research & recommend best practices, upgrades and system/application migrations
Thorough knowledge of end user tools including Smartview, Visual Explorer, and Essbase Add-in for Excel
Responsible for month end close data processing, integration and troubleshooting
Provide end user support for Hyperion Essbase, Financial reporting and Smartview
4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
Experience with Oracle SQL and/or PL/SQL
Strong experience in Microsoft Office productivity tools
Understanding of all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Demonstrated knowledge of both native security and Shared Services security
Demonstrated knowledge of enabling SSL in Hyperion suite
Oracle Essbase API and EAS Java API experience highly desirable
Hyperion Shared Services Security API experience preferred
Working knowledge of Networks, Linux OS and Unix Shell Scripting
Working knowledge of software version control concepts and change management processes
Working knowledge of data modelling concepts both relational and dimensional
Demonstrated expertise in change management and version control practices
A Plus:
Working knowledge of ETL processes ODI experience a plus
Working knowledge of automated job scheduling - ESPx / Autosys is a plus
Understanding of authentication and authorization security concepts
