ABOUT THE POSITION
We are currently seeking a dynamic Business Systems Analyst II to join our team at our office in Colorado Springs or Denver. The Business Systems Analyst II will be responsible for core responsibility in responding to the ongoing reporting needs of the department's customers to include the delivery of assigned reports in a timely and accurate manner and provide oversight and project management skills to junior level analysts. In addition, they should possess an ability to provide systematic and data related support to Data Management and it requestors.
Position
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the development of reports, reference tables and /or data marts in accordance with the Report Development Policy and Procedure. This is to include full and accurate documentation of all required elements and criteria, and the validation of the end product to ensure intended results are being achieved. Additional responsibility for assisting Business Systems Analyst and Data Analysts with learning and following this policy.
Function as a liaison between Data Management and are customers and partners. This will include being able to make informed recommendations for efficient and effective approaches to completing projects/tasks.
Responsible for the research, development and delivery of timely and accurate ad hoc reports that meet the agreed upon threshold for timely measurement.
Function as the lead for project implementation to include new development initiatives, client implementations, and program enhancements. This requires an understanding of the major milestones required to move a project from inception to the completion and ability to develop and follow a project plan, while keeping all resources on track and up to speed.
Responsible for effective communicating progress and status of requests to the end-user and for fostering good customer relationships with our customers and partners.
Position Requirements:
Education : Bachelor's Degree required; preference given to those candidates with a degree in the IT field, Accounting or Business; if no degree then 2-4 years of experience in an analytical environment.

Relevant Work
Experience: Experience in the use of and querying from the relational databases. Proficiency in using software and tools for data analysis and other office computing software applications (word processing/spreadsheet) is required. Experience in analyzing and interpreting data using inferential statistics. Two or four years of diverse experience in data analysis, applied research, program evaluation or statistics in social services. Experience working with medical and or behavioral health data a plus.

Software: Business Objects Products (I.E.-Crystal Reports, Web/Desktop Intelligence, Designer, Xcelsius) MS-Word, MS-Excel, TOAD, SQL
Oracle, SQL Server, Windows
Strong Analytical/Problem Solving, Preference understanding of Managed Health Care principals, Work with minimal Supervision

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
