Oracle America, Inc. has openings for Technical Analysts in Colorado Springs, CO. Analyze user requirements to develop, implement, and/or support Oracles global infrastructure. As a member of the IT organization, assist with the design, development, modifications, debugging, and evaluation of programs for use in internal systems within a specific function area. Analyze existing programs and formulate logic for new complex internal systems. Prepare flowcharting, perform coding, and test/debug programs. Develop conversion and system implementation plans. Recommend changes to development, maintenance, and systems standards.
Employer will accept Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field and 3 years of work experience in job offered or 3 years of work experience in a Technical Analyst-related occupation. Experience must include:
1. Testing, QA and implementation of Oracle Financial Modules;
2. PL/SQL, SQL, C, C++, Unix Shell, XML, SOAP ,JAVA , Oracle Workflow 10g , XML Publisher, Oracle Forms & Reports 6i/9i/10g , Discoverer 10g/11g and SOA;
3. SQL Loader, WS FTP, Putty, TOAD, Jdeveloper, SQL Navigator, PL/SQL developer, Oracles SQL Plus, SQL Trace and TKPROF;
4. UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems;
5. Oracle 11g, 10g, 9i and 8i, MySQL and MS Access databases;
6. Supporting different financial modules and integrated modules including Accounts Payables, Cash Management, Account Receivables, Purchasing, General Ledger, System administrator, Internet Expenses, Order Management , AGIS and Ebusiness Tax;
7. Oracle Workflow issues for Payables, and Oracle Internet expenses;
8. Maintaining Oracle Internal Application systems, applying patches for applications, bouncing servers and upgrading databases instances using Unix Boxes; and
9. EDI and XML Gateway with Oracle ERP.
Experience may be gained concurrently.
