POSITION SUMMARY
Assumes responsibility and accountability for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with both the healthcare team, and the patient/family to identify and meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient. Promotes the optimal health, well-being and safety of the patient through use of the nursing process and in accordance with patient care standards, guidelines and th e State Nurse Practice Act. Demonstrates personal accountability for relationship-based care, organizational mission, and core values.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates; preferred for experienced RNs
RN New Grads with a hire date on or after 9/1/2014 must have a BSN or be currently enrolled in a BSN bridge program. Completion of a BSN must occur within three years of hire date.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Nursing skills and knowledge base specific to specialty
1 year of previous ICU experience; unless hired into the ICU Training Program
LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
Current Colorado RN license/ Current RN license from a participating state in National Licensure Compact
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required
ACLS upon Hire or within 6 months
TNCC, TCAR or TNCC upon Hire or within 6 months
NIHSS Upon Hire or within 6 months
Additional certifications may be required (refer to facility addendum(s)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10 lbs. constantly.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
