Software Engineer Asc
Job Description :
Requires full software development life-cycle support, as well as working in an agile development environment. Provide support to multiple systems, software disciplines, as well as have general knowledge of related disciplines, and customer areas. Responsible for performing analysis and technical support of software products, including design, development, problem resolution, testing, and user support. Works from specifications to develop or modify software applications. Assists with design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging and documentation of programs. Designs, codes, tests and implements tools for operations automation.
Basic Qualifications
Software engineering /software development with Java (1.7 or higher)/JEE.
The candidate will have knowledge of basic software practices such as coding standards and configuration management
Desired skills
Knowledge of enterprise Service Oriented Architecture applications. Knowledge of server side/database development. Flexibility and willingness to take on unanticipated tasking is highly desirable. Desirable skills include knowledge of JEE, JPA, Web Services (specifically SOAP and ReST), Swing, OSGi (4.2 or higher), Drools, and JUnit. Familiarity with the following technologies a strong plus: HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JBoss, Atlasssian toolset (JIRA/Greenhopper/Crucible/Bamboo), and SVN. Experience with Modernized Intelligence Database (MIDB) and/or Joint Targeting Tool (JTT) a plus.
Candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills and an ability to work effectively in a rapid paced, team environment.
