Senior Marketing & Sales Representative
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for a New Business Capture Lead. This position will lead the capture of new business with the US Air Force and other Government customers in the area of Space Domain Awareness, Space Control and Space System Resiliency. The preferred candidate will have recent direct experience working this mission area with current understanding of the customer organizations and the recently released Space Enterprise Vision. This position is located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Responsibilities:
Establishing and maintaining close contact with customers and influencers, identify emerging market opportunities, helping customers develop their acquisition plan by informing them of relevant Boeing capabilities, develop internal strategies and capture plans and ultimately lead the pursuit of new business opportunities.
Establish a broad network of contacts and knowledge base to act as a broker of knowledge to multiple customer needs.
Maintain and advance customer relationships to proactively address future needs.
Leverage detailed understanding of both customer and Boeing needs and resources to find areas of alignment and integration.
Identify future business opportunities and promote the value of Boeing portfolio and partnership.
Support development of strategies and tactics using in-depth knowledge of customer needs, Boeing products and services and competitive environment to foster business growth with acceptable margins.
Craft campaign specific strategies, advocate for resources and work to secure management commitment to ensure successful execution.
Lead preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators and ensure correct members and resources are included in the team.
Provide guidance to more junior employees regarding capturing and documenting detailed customer knowledge and assist in network development.

Qualifications
Typical Education /
Experience:
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
Basic Qualifications(required skills/experience):
Experience working with Government organizations developing Space Domain Awareness, Space Control and/or Space Resiliency mission capabilities within the last 5 years.
Business capture experience.
This position requires an active Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) or higher. (A U.S. Security Clearance/Investigation type that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Capture experience with U.S. Air Force Space Superiority programs.
