Experience:
One year of specialized experience which includes experience utilizing satellite communications (SATCOM) systems and their relationship to other telecommunications networks, systems and equipment; experience executing satellite control procedures and functions; AND experience to manually compute technical satellite link configurations such as azimuth and elevation angles, uplink power values and multi-satellite links in a common transponder. The definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower pay band or equivalent grade/level position in the federal service (NH-02). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:
