ASSESSMENT FACTORS1. Demonstrated competence and experience in establishing and managing security programs specific to joint Space operations and intelligence activities.2. Experience working in the Special Security Officer (SSO)/Security Branch at a Combatant Command or other joint military/defense organization.3. Provides expertise in technical subject area to an organization or team.4. Conducts oversight to ensure work activities and products comply with all relevant policies, laws, and regulations in area of responsibility.5. Creates and/or implements security standards, policies, and procedures.HIGHLY DESIRED SKILLS 1. Proven experience in establishing and building SSO security programs for new organizations.2. Demonstrated ability to collaborate with, assist, and leverage local, component, and peer SSOs and security managers to realize organization security objectives.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
