This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). For this job, you may qualify if your education meets the definitions below:
Education To qualify, you must possess a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. (NOTE:
You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience To qualify, you must possess the specialized experience as described above, but less than 1 year, and more than 1 year but less than 2 years of the education described above, such that the total is equal to at least 100% of the requirements. (To compute the percentage, divide your total months of specialized experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of graduate education beyond 1 year by 18. Add the two percentages. The total must equal at least 100% to qualify.) (NOTE:
