Experience:
operating automation, emergency dispatching, and communications equipment; questioning callers to determine problems and nature of calls to respond with appropriate emergency personnel/equipment; accomplishing several tasks at one time such as operating radios, telephones, and typing; and communicating effectively with police, fire, or medical personnel during emergencies. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas:

Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
